ZX Spectrum games

Hi all

I just acquired a ZX Spectrum. No, not an emulator: the real thing.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good games for it. If
I need to convert it from TAP or TZX, that is OK.

I don't suppose there's anything that could be called "new-school" for
the speccy, is there?

The Hobbit! Got me hooked, both on IF and on Tolkien...
Oh, and Mordon's Quest was nice, too.

The Big Sleaze.x

Good for you to get one of those (im the owner of a ZX128k+ myself)

Regarding the software issue search for SPAC (in english) and SPAG (in
spanish) (both of them trying to preservate every adventure game made for
the spectrum, so you'll find lots of games there) Goto the link section of
World Of Spectrum (to find their links) at www.wordofspectrum.org

If you mean companies/programmers launching new software.... YES there is...
Cronosoft for instance
