    It did, in fact, let me boot up windows after adding some solder on the pin. And after checking with CPU-Z it is in fact running at the right frequency

    To keep the update up. I've decided to re-solder the pin. Will update sometime later today on whether this fixes the issue or not.

    Yeah, after looking at these im 100% sure there should be solder there. Would that prevent posting even if ram is not directly in the slot with missing solder ? I figured it'd just throw a memory error instead. And, if there's supposed to be solder there , would it be alright to just re-solder...

    Will get to it tomorrow morning as its awfuly annoying to take the pc out at this time, although what i can say is that the pins are alright, its literally just the solder missing. Will be back with images though.

    Propably the last update , after replacing the gpu the issue seems to be gone, no crashes for last day or so.

    That's a shame. Thing is , as it is right now , I have no telling whether it's GPU or PSU that needs replacement .

    As for overheating , i doubt that , sits at 70C under load after changing thermal paste. Memtest didn't show any ram issues so i don't think it's that either , PSU is vero m1 600W from SilentiumPC. Repair shop deemed it was the overheating , personally i think it's PSU but i'm not sure of...

    So, in the end , all that the repair shop came up with was that the cause was GPU overheating, so i guess i'll try changing thermal paste on it and if that doesnt help, just buy a new gpu.

    As mentioned, pretty sure it does, i just thought it was peculiar that it blinks when pc is off and psu is unplugged from the socket ( noticed while testing if its ram/drives)

    I can't remember but i'm pretty sure it's on as soon as the PSU is turned on, and i think it stays on when PC is running, no idea about sleep though

    Actually since i remembered something else, would it be normal that after turning PC,PSU off and unplugging PSU from power the Motherboard power LED keeps slowly blinking every now and then?
