Hi all,
Just a couple of quick questions ?

Motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus Pro X revision 1.0

Can i put a Samsung 990 Pro Nvme m.2 ssd Pcie 4 into the Pcie 5 slot, i know it will only run at Pcie 4 speeds, but is it possible without problems ?

The other question is can i put my Nvdia RTX 3060 graphics card into the Pcie 5 slot, until i get my RTX 4070 Ti Super ?

Open to all information and suggestions, i will be running a i7 14700K Cpu.

Thanks

It's largely irrelevant because GPUs still cannot completely "fill" the bandwith of the PCIe slot. So if your GPU is forced to use half the lanes it will still have enough.

NVMes can use up more than GPUs. But it's not something you can notice in everyday use, so you don't have to worry about being restricted.
