If you're talking about the 4 buttons within the cable (volume up, volume down, mic on/off and change RGB), then you can not rebind those buttons to do something else. These four are hardwired to the headset.

From what I understand about headphone inline remotes, they tend to work off the microphone line by adjusting the voltage of microphone signal back to the computer. I presume the application works by listening to the microphone input and performs the action based on the voltage, or rather the digital value the sound interface gives to the OS.

So in theory, you could. But you'd have to make your own app.
