I recently upgraded my ryzen 5 1600 to the ryzen 9 5900x and im getting lower fps than i was before, i only get around 40 in games like Ark Ascended. My gpu and cpu usage was at only 15% but i looked around and did some power and performance changes that other tried. Well that brought me up to 99% gpu usage and 40% cpu usage but still 40 fps. Only runnning medium graphics too. But 35-50 FPS is what i got with my old cpu at 99% usage and i figure this one should do better. I've tried everything i can find online so hopefully y'all can help me out.. What else can i do to increase FPS?

update motherboard bios?
windows see all the cores?
brand and model of the psu?
Bios isn't at the latest but it's updated enough it supports my cup and GPU. Should I still update it? Windows does see all cores. It's a Corsair RM750X I think it was. Something like that lol

Did you reinstall Windows after installing new components? This can help.
Also, make sure you delete all the old drivers and install the latest ones for your current configuration.
