Hi all

I need some assistance. I’m have an issue with shadowplay and I can’t seem to get the issue resolved with Nvidia customer support.

When I turn instant replay on my game freezes or the graphics goes blurry but most times my pc crashes. The recording doesn’t work either. It auto saves as I turn it on.

I’ve uninstalled Nvidia drivers etc likes hundred times the issue gets fixed if I’m in the same session as when I game. So once I’ve done the clean installation, installed drivers etc and start up games it’s fine but I’ll shutdown my computer load up the game same issue starts again. I have to download/reinstall Nvidia drivers, software every time I start my pc in order to play and record games.

I have turned off overlays from Nvidia, change recording settings, bit rate settings and quality. With OBS studio recording is perfect but I can’t get the same quality as I do with Nvidia as I’m new to obs. I downloaded it as Nvidia isn’t working.

I’ve tried pretty much everything that has been suggested by Nvidia customer support and nothing works.

Any help would be really appreciated

I’m running Windows 11
Ryzen 5 7600X
RTX 4070 Ti

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

Reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS or JBAT or similar (eventually you will have to set the boot priority correctly after that)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

clean boot

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool and if available, update the firmware

use ddu uninstaller and reinstall the latest graphics driver

I have had so many issues and getting the help I needed hasn’t been easy as the problem just persisted. Nvidia have been releasing driver updates so often that when ever I update my card things just seemed to get worse. So hoping this will be stable
