Question Pc shutting down during intensive games

A few months back while playing MSFS 2020 using the Fenix A320, my PC completely shut down without any sort of warning. There was no blue screen, no warning messages, it just shut down. I've had this issue for ages now and have attempted to get help here and on plenty of other forums but no help. Following this, I sent my PC back to PC Specialist TWICE now but the issue is persisting. The first time they couldn't replicate the issue and concluded it was a software issue and the 2nd time they still couldn't replicate the issue but this time completely rebuilt my system and replaced the GPU and PSU. I tried running MSFS 2020 in the Fenix a320 after receiving my PC back (which was recent) but my PC is still turning off randomly. I have tried many troubleshooting steps like uninstalling drivers, messing with bios, uninstalling applications etc. All of this still results in my PC shutting down. Could the issue be the plugin I use for MSFS or could it be my home's electricals?

Here is a report from the RMA technicians that looked at my PC on the 2nd occasion: https://share.icloud.com/photos/084MwKU800qoKiKLk6EjuBPTw

The linked file is not publicly viewable. It requires signing into a Google account. That is a no-go.

What are the specs for this system (make/model of ALL installed components? Of particular interest are the GPU and PSU.

Are you overclocking anything? If so, stop and revert to stock speeds. Intent is to establish a solid baseline.

Hello, apologies about the link, I’ve added an iCloud link which I’ve used before fine. My specs are Ryzen 7800X3D, Gamerock 4090, Asus B650 plus WiFi motherboard and Corsair 1000W PSU. This issue also happened on my Zotac 4090. No overclocking is being used.

I can't say that your PSU isn't enough for your 4090 card.
But...and there is always a but....can you test the PSU on another system?
Usually when the PSU is failing that is one of the results : sudden restarts or worse - shut downs.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately I don’t have another system I can use. The manufacturer replaced the PSU so I doubt it’s a failing PSU.

This reads like a typical heat and/or power issue. What speed is your memory running?

Also, do you experience similar issues under any other circumstances?

What are your CPU and GPU operating temperatures at idle and under load?
I can only manage to recreate the problem in MSFS. My CPU idle temps are 50-56 degrees and GPU idle temps are 45 degrees. I’ve added a link to this comment which makes me believe it’s a heat issue. My max CPU temp limit for my 7800X3D is 89 degreees.

CMK32GX5M2B6000C30. It's CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB.

That memory is better suited for an Intel-based system. You should have used something that supports EXPO (AMD's XMP like mechanism).

Regarding the aforementioned heat reply, 89 shouldn't be your limit, at least from a shutdown perspective. The system might begin throttling (slowing down), but it shouldn't shutdown.

Hello, I did test with another ram kit but the system still shut down. If it’s not thermal then I have no idea what it is.
