Hi all,
My current system specs
Gigabyte aorus pro x motherboard
Intel i7 14700k
2 x 16 Kingston fury ddr5 6000
Gigabyte aero 4060
Asus loki rog 850w power supply
Samsung 990 pro 2 tb nvme pcie4 running in the pcie 5 slot - via cpu
Lexar 4tb nvme pcie 4 running in pcie 4 slot - via cpu

Besides the graphics card, thinking about either
Crucial t705 2tb pcie 5 nvme and Kingston fury renegade 2 x16 ddr5 8000
Which would be the best path to take , the nvme drive or the ram, would be nice for both but not at this stage
Looking for best options for performance , I mainly game (msfs) and a few other titles , and researching stuff online etc etc.

Thanks for any opinions and info 👍

The memory speed is not going to make much of a difference.

The CPU only has 20 lanes if your running @ X4 speeds on both the drives then your card is running @X8 instead of X16.

I have not looked up your board going 100% off of your information but I would move the drive without the OS on it to a slot using the chipset and upgrade your video card.

Yes I thought about that, gigabyte aero 4070 Ti super, but that’s about $1500 AUD
Would be lucky to get $500 for my 4060 , that’s if I could sell it

i moved the other drive to run off the chipset, but the gpu is still only running x8
and the Os running at x4
