Question What could be happening..

Hello all.

Specs in the sig.

I keep crashing in COD and Avatar at ultra settings. Sometimes high settings. Not sure why. In avatar adrenaline has the gpu at 100% and my cpu at around 35%. Gpu temp hovering around 30c and cpu around 65c. gpu mem is at around 13000. I was getting around 90-130 fps on avatar and now around 35 at the same settings.

the only thing i have changed was enable expo and p boost overdrive.

what could be going on?

Could you list your parts in the post. Makes it easier to see what your system is and signatures do not always show.

I find that in these situations going back to the previously good settings is a good start to see if it solves the problem

Are you sure about that GPU temp being 30c @100% usage?

Was this when it was producing good frames or after the framerate tanked?

My 7800XT (Sapphire) doesn't even idle that low.

My typo. Both the cpu and gpu are hovering around 60-68c. The gpu right when it crashes is anywhere between 65-68c.

Have you tried rolling back your drivers?

When I get home from work I will reset the bios to default and try playing to rule out the expo and pboverdrive. If it happens again I will rollback the drivers. thx
