I know you said you updated them but It sounds like a driver issue, I had the same problem. Try going to your motherboard manufacturers website and downloading the sound driver from there.

It looks like rtwlanu.sys is a network driver file, try reinstalling the driver. hit windows key+R, type 'devmgmt.msc' find 'Network adapters' and there should be a realtek network driver, reinstall that.

I would look to it being a PSU problem as you suspect. I had a similar experience with a new graphics card that was fine until I loaded into a game/played for a while. The extra power draw would cause me to have the same problem.

Your senses are keen :) It's hard to justify expensive upgrades on an 8 year old system in such unstable times. Good advice on the used part the retail prices seem relatively high at the moment.

Although a lot of programs (including Minecraft) run fine with 8GB I would definitely go with 16GB for future proof and just because more programs now make use of RAM especially games. Your motherboard may also not even be able to fully utilise 4800mhz depending on the model.

You should just be able to set the monitor as the default display and games should open on that screen. right click desktop -> display settings and make sure the monitor is set to 1

If the device fully turns on (Power led goes green) when you plug it in i would assume it is a hardware fault with the circuitry/maybe something came loose. Did the display ever work and if so did anything obvious happen between it working and not working?

It may be worth trying a third party media player to narrow down the issue, I recommend VLC over the in built windows one. I presume it's a software issue since Youtube plays fine.
