Yeah, i guess so, how old is your psu?

have you set the video output to come from the gpu in the bios? try connecting you video cable to the mobo's onboard graphics

Definitely test your psu, the lag may be it suddenly turning of and on again really fast, it also may not be supplying enough power

How long has it been since you have cleaned out the heat sinks, maybe keep check on your gpu temps with hwmonitor

Would you be able to recommend a aio water cooler please? cause if I wanted to do a bit of overclocking- if the mobo supports it- I would need better cooling, right?

I was thinking about an Intel, because I am kinda fussy and I do trust Intel, All of the PC’s I have had with Intel are still running at this time, I like to go with quality. I think it’s better to pay a little extra for it to last longer
