    Question How can I prevent my USB Wireless Adapter for my PC that does not have a wifi card from overheating and cutting off after like an hour of running?

    Things that I have tried... Power settings -> USB Selective Suspend -> putting it from Enabled to Disabled. BIOS USB 2.0 on Full Speed or HiSpeed? Which stresses the card / generates heat more? Can i just put a fan right near it (ghetto) to prevent it from overheating?
