    Yes, I also did a "format fs=ntfs" in command prompt that i ran from the bootable USB.

    Sigh. Cold Boot problem still not fixed. Guess I will just have to live with that.

    Phew, finally. Some progress. Still don´t know if Cold Boot problems persists. Will see that tomorrow at cold start. But now Windows 10 is back and working fine. Hopefully this time without any corrupted files :) THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT! WITHOUT YOU THE LIKES OF ME WOULD NOT MAKE IT FAR!

    Windows 10 Pro right now. And it encounters all kinds of strange problems. Cannot update som drivers. Cannot reset and so on.

    Could this be fixed by changing CMOS-battery or is that a moot point under current circumstances?

    At this point I do not think that I can do anything more? Everything check´s out fine when all the hardware is warm enough. There ought to be a tool that runs diagnostics before Bios loads, but that doesn´t exist. So I am left with this questionmark. Sad if I waste money on a new Solid-State SSD...

    I have run Intel Solid-State Drive Toolbox. Read Scan & Data Integrity Scan, OK. No issues there. If it is a SSD problem I guess it might not show up when the SSD is warm. Problem only appears when cold.

    Yes, updating Bios did nothing. Any guess to what hardware problem?

    Fast boot is disabled in Bios. Same problem. I am going to try updating Bios next to see if that changes anything. But I doubt that is the problem.
