Hey, my HTPC has been having this problem. Specs CPU- G3258 Mobo- Asus H97M-plus PSU: Corsair RM650 The PC would just shut down and after I power it on again it states that power surge was detected. What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance :D

If you want to OC, I suggest getting an aftermarket cooler, a Cooler Master 212 EVO is a good cooler for the money

Your build is fine and won't bottleneck but to save some money, the Samsung 840 EVO is still very good and cheaper, and also maybe get Kingston RAM, cause Corsair Vengeance ram is abit more expensive.

If you want to fit longer GPUs, maybe the Corsair 350D and also Bitfenix Phenom/Prodigy is also good too

Minecraft doesn't need high end stuffs, so yes it can handle Minecraft easily and also your build is fine

Yes now it will be fine for gaming but if you want, go for 16gb for more 'futureproof'. Also, i7 5820k and 970 won't bottleneck

Hey, im building a cheap HTPC-ish PC and im getting the G3258. Im planning to OC (maybe around 4.4-4.6ghz) it but to save some money, I was thinking of staying with the stock cooler. Can the stock cooler cool the OCed CPU? And also will it make alot of noise? Thanks :D
