On my Board it defaults to AHCI mode. When I go into the BIOS settings and advanced PCH storage configuration, it looks like this. Theres no explicit option to change to RAID or AHCI or whatever

Yeah Intel RST is turned off, I don't even have the driver for it im pretty sure. Im assuming the default if its off is set to AHCI mode right?

Nope still not showing. If i go and try to create new storage pool as well it says no disks available or whatever

Nope not showing in storage spaces, and if I click create new storage pool it says no drives that work with storage spaces are available

Okay good news!! I had to go to storage controllers, then have disk, and then I went and slected the x64 NVME inf file and it looks like it installed correctly...? but now I dont know what to do since its not showing up in disk management still

Looks like it was sucessful, now what should I do?

Okay got it i'll try to, I just dont know what drivers it would be since ive installed everything, do you think I have to manually set one of them as an express controller?

What do you mean by clean up? Everytime I uninstall and re scan the same exact thing happens :(

Really appreciate your help so far, Im scared to install the rapid storage technology driver since ive heard it can cause clean installs or delete your drive or whatever. Im gonna make a back up before I install it

Wow okay I didnt even know, I went ahead and did that, and it definitely cleared up some of the unknown devices now. Heres what it looks like now: Still does not show up in disk management though. Im thinking its been narrowed down to one of the unkown PCI devices, and we have to manually...

Went and updated the chipset, it's still showing all these unknown devices. Even restarted the PC after install.

Looks like for the samsung 990 evo plus it uses the standard intel drivers, not the samsung specific ones, hence why it cant detect it.
