Question New M.2 SSD is showing up in BIOS, but not in Disk Management or in create new storage spaces ?

Check Storage Spaces.
If the drive appears in storage spaces, then delete storage pool.

Nope not showing in storage spaces, and if I click create new storage pool it says no drives that work with storage spaces are available

Nope still not showing. If i go and try to create new storage pool as well it says no disks available or whatever

Do not click on "create new storage pool". Just check, if there's already an existing storage pool.

Did you manage to check those BIOS settings mentioned in post #22 ?

Yeah Intel RST is turned off, I don't even have the driver for it im pretty sure. Im assuming the default if its off is set to AHCI mode right?

Different boards can have different default settings.
You have to check them.

On my Board it defaults to AHCI mode. When I go into the BIOS settings and advanced PCH storage configuration, it looks like this. Theres no explicit option to change to RAID or AHCI or whatever

In easy mode

there's a toggle switch to turn off Intel Rapid Storage Technology​

In advanced mode
Advanced/System Agent Configuration/VMD Setup Menu

set VMD controller to disabled.​
