[SOLVED] Trouble booting from M.2 SSD

You're absolutely right, I put the drive back in and it booted. I checked and it had a system partition on it. I'll look up ways to move it to the ACTUAL boot drive. Thanks for helping!

[SOLVED] Trouble booting from M.2 SSD

I removed an internal 2TB hard drive from my computer and now the system will not boot to its M.2 drive. I've tried booting directly to it in the BIOS, but it says I must "Reboot and Select proper Boot device...." I booted the system up to Linux with a live USB and checked to see if the M.2...

Question When to buy referbished iPhone

Thank you so much for the great response! Just another quick question. Does a phone like the iPhone 8 in refurbished terms have anymore room to drop then? Like if I waited for this release then would the price of the 8 drop down to around the same price of the 7 (although higher to be sure) and...

Question When to buy referbished iPhone

I need to buy a new phone, the iPhone 4 I have now just isn't a great experience at all. I was thinking about buying a refurbished iPhone 7 on eBay. 32 GB for a relatively good $180. My question is, should I wait for Apple to release their new iPhones in September before buying these? How much...

Question Laptop Recommendation (Under $500, SSD, 8GB RAM)

Thank you, I meant to say light photo editing, so if light video editing is alright I'm sure that should be fine as well. She keeps her files on a flash drive and the photos in Google Photos, so I think the storage won't be as big of a problem. Thank you!

Question Laptop Recommendation (Under $500, SSD, 8GB RAM)

The title says it all, I wonder if something like this is possible. Essentially plugging the external hard drive into the computer through the Ethernet port.

HDMI Port Not Centered on GPU, Cannot Plug Into It

I found a fix myself, I filed down the HDMI male port with an electric nail filer for dogs. Probably the strangest fit I've ever done, but it fits in like a charm now!

HDMI Port Not Centered on GPU, Cannot Plug Into It

I got a GX 730 for some light gaming and VM work and the VGA port worked fine. When I tried to plug in HDMI, I realized that the port was not centered and I could not plug the cord in all the way, it would hit the casing on my computer. Any fix for this, I got the card also to use dual monitors...

Core 2 Duo E8600 Graphics Card

I would like to get a cheap graphics card to run videos more smoothly and maybe accelerate some VMs. Maybe some very light basic gaming too (Minecraft, etc), no Call of Duty or anything. I also want to keep it cheap, well under 50 dollars would be great. An older GPU would also be fine, nothing...
