Hey guys... I JUST got a new LG 65 G3 tv.. loving it... The only problem im having is I can not find ANYWAY to enable VRR... Im using 2.1 hdmi cables from my PC (nvidia rtx 3080ti, to my receiver, from my earc out from reciever to earc hdmi on my tv ( all cables are hdmi 2.1) Running windows...

When I said slave I meant like my non windows drive (I chose this for the 7200 speed without trying to get an ssd)...but maybe that's a mistake? The reason for the big PSU is future proofing for the rtx 3080 ti. But maybe it's still too much?

These are the components I'm thinking about getting for my machine... Haven't decided on a case or motherboard (dunno if it's good). Can you guys let me know if this goes well together? Do I have good stuff? I will be using a lower end graphics card (rx 580 8gb) until the rtx 3080ti comes out...

Turns out after running prime95 it was a bad cpu. Replaced motherboard with an MSI Z170A GAMING M... Replaced cpu for the same one I7 6700k...working like a charm now. Thanks for all the help everyone!

I have also uninstalled the gtx 1060 graphics card then ran ccleaner. installed my wife's working gtx 1080 and installed the drivers to that... Got the same errors. So I don't believe it's the actual graphics card. It's just very weird.

Update... Since then nothing has helped... I even went so far as to take it to bestbuy for them to look at (I know people will say they suck etc don't want to make it a bestbuy flame war thing) and after 8 days they said... We don't know what else to do. Is it possible motherboard graphics card...

Nope. Tried the oldest version... Still Crashes before the game even boots from steam. Seems to only affect shadows of mordor and ffxiv from the games I have...so is this an nvidia error, windows error, or cpu error?

I clicked solved by accident... It's not solved... I don't know how to undo it...but I did update to the newest driver... It was a brand new install on a reformatted ssd with a fresh copy of Windows.
