    BIOS also shows 32GB. also, i tried disabling XMP in case that somehow was the cause, but no change. ok i will attempt this

    definitely not. i bought and installed it myself. definitely Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM (8GBx2) can still see it in my amazon order history.

    my sysinfo shows: installed physical - 32.0GB available physical - 27.8GB total virtual - 36.9GB available virtual - 31.5GB page file space - 5GB and yes, on task manager under "performance->memory", it shows "memory 32GB" on top.
