    So all I did was plug both sata cables into the mobo. In the bios menu I see them both. I found the boot option and it let me re arrange them if that makes sense. But when I press save it just reboots into the bios again.

    Hello! I just upgraded my system to a mpg MSI b550 gaming plus and a ryzen 7 3700x. Booted the pc up and I load straight into the bios menu. I’m not sure what to do next. I see both of my ram sticks. My 1tb hard drive which has the OS on it. And I see my 500gb ssd. I’m not sure what to do next.

    ok. Another dumb question. What needs to be plugged in vs needs to be unplugged. I’m not taking the mobo out so wanted to make sure. I’ve seen people do it with the mobo still in the pc just not sure what needs to be plugged in.

    Once I Ok. When I find the battery is it just a pull and plug back in type deal? Also when I do pull it out and put it back in. I’m assuming I use my old 2600 during this whole process. Do I need to re download the newish mobo bios then update again and put the new cpu in after all that’s done.

    yea it’s fully my fault not updating the bios. I realized I needed to. Took the new cpu out and out the old back in. Updated to latest version 7C02v1H5(Beta version) and still nothing.
