Windows To Go boot issues on HP Probook 4530s

I have a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro to go installed on a Seagate backup plus slim external hard disk, and it works fine on more modern laptops (like my friend's Acer Aspire E 15), but shows "boot device not found" on my Probook 4530s. I tried it with both the boot partition and system partition...

Also, I'm in Dubai, so amazon with international shipping is about the best I can find. Local stores sell everything for like $30-$50 more. Z97-A is a good choice as of now. Thanks

Z97 EXTREME4 is kinda expensive though ($159.87). I mean, I could get it with the money I have, but I'd also like to save as much money as I can so I can get other things. Hoping for around $100 - $130. Thanks.

Cheapest Z97 Mobo for i5 4690K oc, extreme oc probably not required. [GAMING]

I'm getting upgrading from an i3 2100 (on an Intel Desktop Board DH61WW) to an i5 4690k. So I need to get a cheap z97 mobo for supporting and OC'ing the CPU(if necessary). Change from i3 2100 to i5 4670K, having a GTX 970 for gaming?

After more thought, I realize I will be using this for a while now, before any upgrades (maybe 4 years?). So I'm thinking I'll save up some more and try going high end, change up the mother board and the CPU, overclock ready, in case I feel up to it. Learned quite a bit today. :) Thanks

    Change from i3 2100 to i5 4670K, having a GTX 970 for gaming?

I'm probably not gonna overclock the CPU though. I think I'll just stick to overclocking the GPU for now. Thanks for the help. :)

    Change from i3 2100 to i5 4670K, having a GTX 970 for gaming?

Dubai, UAE. Also, doing some research, I've found this Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD2 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard which is compatible with the i5 4670K, and costs about 60 dollars. Is it worth it to invest in these?
