Does the MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard support SLI. I have read in some places that it does and in some places that it doesn't. It features the 970 chipset which does natively support SLI, but I know that some motherboards with this chipset do not support SLI.

I am planning on changing my motherboard and cpu from an amd fx 6300 with an asus m5a97 Rev 2 to an amd fx 8350 with the msi 970 gaming motherboard. What is the process of 1.) replacing asus drivers with MSI drivers and 2.) is a windows reinstall needed or will it work just fine Thanks

Sorry about the reply I'm not sure what happened, think my internet messed up, anyway yeh i do play on normal 1080p resolution and that is fine, it's just that sometimes in certain games I will have to turn down some of the settings and such. I play games like Skyrim and the Borderlands series...
