I Think i would get a new motherboard and a new cpu if i where you :) An example could be: The fx6300 with a gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard. This sould cost about 170usd. Hope this helps :)

An i5 is a really solid cpu for gaming and will last you some time.

Get a gtx 980ti and upgrade cpu some other time ;)

The i5 4460 will not bottleneck and you sould be fine :) If i where you i would spend some more cash on a good PSU since it wont be outdated as fast and will give more headroom for upgradability in the future. Here is a tier list so you can see which PSU´s are better than others...

970 sli vs 980 ti for 1080p 144hz gamming? I already have one 970 in my build but im not sure if one single 980ti would be a better solution for FPS titels like Battlefield. Also, will the 3,5gb Vram be an issue in the future? Edit: Wish to run all games at max settings.
