No idea why this was moved to a graphics card thread, since it's literally only concerned with processors, but it seems like the Avast Do Not Disturb mode was really messing up my in-game power settings.
I realised it also does it on some games that are not in GeForce plus I disabled all the optimisations in there. I just disabled some kind of Do Not Disturb mode in Avast and it seems to be working for some reason. I'll try to update tomorrow if that actually fixed it.
