Useless how? I have used backup on Windows 7 previously, is it no longer a valid backup process?

I only have one drive, my C drive. I am trying to backup using the Windows backup feature. Backup Settings>Go to back up and restore for Windows 7> Takes you to Backup and Restore menu

Oh I am sorry I wrote that wrong. (I only have one drive at the moment.) But what I meant is that I ran chkdsk, and it completed and the backup still did not complete.

hmm is there a way to figure out if it is one of those issues? I ran chkdsk and it still did not complete.

Thank you for the reply. I have tried investigating what the issue could be, but have not found any solutions that have worked. I will look into Macrium Reflect, thank you for the suggestion.

Hello, Thank you for responding. It does not display any error information, the progress bar just stops at 98% and never completes. I have left it over night, and there was just no progress past this point.
