I'm waiting for the Intel Core i7 7770K to be released, but someone said that the 7770K will actually be named the 7700K, and will be 2nd only to the extreme edition line of CPU's.
Is this true?
I'm building a new gaming PC with two-way SLI GTX 1080's and I've already purchased the thermaltake core x9 cube case.
Are there any advantages to having a cube case where the motherboard sits horizontally? Someone one another forum said that it's easier for heat to escape the case.
Oh, and...
Is there any noticeable difference in gaming performance between DDR3 and DDR4 memory?
Would having a fast DDR4 memory kit result in maybe 5-10 more fps?
I read that the new Kaby Lake processors from Intel will only support DDR3 memory and is compatible with USB 2.0
Isn't this actually a downgrade from the Z170 and X99?
