Not completly sure but dust thing is highly unlikely, both components are quite new, bought them couple of months back only. Also, slot was covered with the shield all the time.. But yeah, removing and reinserting solved the problem.

Yes, I have one Sata drive connected to Sata #6 port . As per manual, Sata #1 port conflicts with NVMe. Also, I tested by removing sata drive. Still same. Crystaldiskinfo shows it is running on PCIe 3.0 x1 I haven't tried changing NVMe slot though... That's a last option I want to try.. This...

Actually, it is running on Gen 3 but it is x1 instead of x4. Specs wise Samsung 970 EVO should give 3,500 MB/s read speeds on Gen 3x4. But due to it's running on Gen 3x1 it is giving me barely 900 MB/s read speeds. Don't know if I am able to explain the issue properly..

My apologies regarding above comment on Thermaltake.. Amazon India website shows it only support AM4 socket... But I just checked it on official website, it supports AM3 as well.
