You can't just upgrade to a i7 8700K.... You have to upgrade your motherboard and ram... As your mother board is ivy bridge and RAM is ddr3... For an i7 8700K, you would need a Z370 motherboard and a ddr4 ram..... For a gtx 1070Ti, your system will probably be bottleneck...

Definitely the i5 9600K.... Look at any benchmark, any comparison, 9600K performs much better than the 7700K.... But if you can, you can buy the 8700K... But as per as your question, 9600K is fairly better And BTW, the 7th gen (Kay Lake) is dead... Even the i3-8350K beats the i7-7700K by a bit...

First of all, the CPU has a bottleneck and so is the ram very slow... Ddr3@1333mhz is too low for a rtx 2070's high bandwidth and gddr6...

Well, with a gtx 1070, the difference would not be huge... It won't even be noticeable so, I would get an 2700X... But if you are planning on a gtx 1080 or more in the future, then go for the 8700K
