[SOLVED] MoBo extender cables for Case Mod

Thanks for the reply. I searched for the RAM cables first, so didn't think the PCI would be as easy to find. It makes sense that the tight timing of the RAM traces would make it impossible. Kind of similar to the maximum length of a USB cable.

[SOLVED] MoBo extender cables for Case Mod

Hello, Working on a case mod, I'm planning to put the Graphics card and possibly RAM in another place than directly into the MoBo. Where can I find extension cables to wire the Graphics card and RAM some distance away from the MoBo, like maybe a foot max? Kind of how the Deepcool...

Continuing Trend Of Vented Mice, Thermaltake Intros Ventus Z

I have to say that the "sniper button" looks handy though, and although you may be right about the less plastic gimmick, they didn't overprice it, in my opinion.

is this a good tv for console gaming?

That would be great for console gaming. It has high enough resolution to appreciate the full power of the PS4 AND the XBoxOne. It also has a 60Hz refresh rate for games like Metal Gear Solid V. It also doesn't give you too much power, so you're not wasting your money on a 4K TV which your...

What should I do to upgrade my PC

In my opinion, I would get a better power supply. It seems like yours might be nearing its limit if you want to keep upgrading. That would be in preparation for a large CPU/Motherboard/RAM upgrade(they commonly go together).

    sound playing through 1 ear

If multiple pairs of earphones show the same result, then it sounds like the audio jack(the hole you plug your headphones into) in your computer is faulty. These break down all the time because they are under a lot of physical stress. If you take the laptop to a local computer repair shop they...

    Can motherboards cause hardware failure...

It sounds like your PSU may have damaged the motherboard/CPU through undervoltage. If you don't want to possibly damage more components, then I would suggest getting a new motherboard and CPU, if not a fresh build altogether.

    New monitor or keyboard?

I agree with the two intelligent and charming people above, the monitor is what you will notice much more, and its what you have to stare at the whole time. Also, the keyboard isn't that bad. As to the Benq or Asus monitor, I have worked with several Asus product and they have all worked...

Having Boot Problems in Windows 10 *HELP*

Sorry for the strange question, but can you install Windows, get into your desktop, and then remove the flash drive? It sounds like the installation is not working properly. If we're lucky, you might just have to try again.

Disk Drive does not seem to work with Windows 10

Did you install the drive before installing Windows 10? You might need to update the drivers for Windows 10. Search for your drive's model number and brand in order to find the driver on the manufacturers website. For example: "Pioneer Black Blu-ray Burner SATA BDR-209DBK Windows 10 drivers".

    graphic card support

Yes! If the GeForce GT 220 works, it has the same type of connector interface ad the GeForce GTX 730, a 16-pin PCI Express 2.0 slot. The fact that your motherboard says DDR2 has to do with the RAM, not the graphics card. So you should be good to go!

    No signal to the Monitor

Well that's pretty scary. A few questions to help us help you: 1. Do the fans in your PC spin up? - (does anything turn on?) 2. Did you remember to put the cooler on and reapply the thermal paste? 3. Which cable/plug type did you plug the monitors into? - You need to install drivers for certain...
