It was my graphics card i put in my previous card gtx 1060 boom instantly back to 144 hz going to return gtx 1080 tomorrow thanks for all the help guys appreciate it

I tried a fresh installation of windows ,i completely wiped my pc twice, i tried an older version of my graphics drivers and nothing worked and i bought a new dvi cable the only thing left to do is to uninstall my graphics card drivers and put my old card in there and see if i get 144hz again...
