stuck at 60hz

My pc is stuck at 60 hz i had it at 144hz before i made pc upgrades and now i cant even see options . I installed my drivers. I have a dual link dvi cable ,my monitor can go up to 144hz Only think i can think of is that maybe the cord went bad on me.I bought new ram, graphic card, and motherboard. I also have my monitor plugged into the gpu. Any suggestions help thank you tomorrow i will be buying a new cord for the update. Thank you

Seems to be a common problem people with 1000 series cards not being able to get 144 Hz over DVI.

LOL i had no faith in you but you were right its my gtx 1080 i put my 1060 back in it was fine.Thanks for ur help
