Try switching the vga cable if possible or connecting it to a TV via HDMI and trying that. And (obviously) make sure that it is connected correctly.

Strange, like turkey I would expect it has to do with the boot priority. Until you find a actual solution plugging it in after you have booted the os will work.

I don't think this has to do with the CPU cooler then. I've had one of these werid situations where I change something and something is messing up yet what I changed isn't what is wrong. Update anything recently?

"sapphire r7 360" With your budget I wouldn't recommend this. I'd recommend Gigabyte Radeon R9 380 4GB SOC Video Card (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr938g1gaming4gd) and definitely would recommend nothing that has 2GB's of ram or less.

This is werid. Have you tried making sure that all the connectors are connected correctly? You shouldn't have to put your computer on the side to turn it on..
