UPDATE: Solved Turned out there must have been a conflict of IP addresses - I went into the switch settings and enabled DHCP so the router allocated the switch an IP address (i think i understood that right!) anyway its all working now, hopefully it lasts!

I'll have a go later today and see if i can work out how to assign a IP address to the Xbox via the router. Do i just need to get the MAC address of the xbox then make up a IP 192.168.0.xx vai the router setting, then put the IP i made up into the Xbox network setting? fingers crossed that's all...

So i have a wirelss router downstairs and wanted to hardwire in my xbox one and my PC as the wifi isnt that great upstairs where they are based I've run a single ethernet cable from my router, outside the house into my room which is connected to the switch, ive then connect my pc and Xbox One...

I have the same problem with my Naga Hex v2, the lights work on cycle but as soon as synapses 3 loads they go out, although it did work at one point! The software picks up the mouse and i can do macros and that but other than that its just black....it also sucks that synapses 3 doesn't support...

I think I've just worked it out......I'm using synapses 3 and i don't think my devices are supported by the new version...so i have to use synapses 2.0 (legacy) i'll try it when i get home! Will update on my results, since i can't delete this post!

Bit of an odd one here.....I have a Razer Naga Hex V2 and the lights are no longer working when i run Razer Synapses since the last update!!! When i start the computer the mouse lights up and goes through the colour cycle, then as soon as windows starts synapses the lights go out. I've looked...

If i look at the 1070s do i want to stick with the ASUS, MSI, EVGA brands over gigabyte, PNY, Zotac etc..........I'm guessing the only difference really is the cooling and and OC with the latter brands not being as good?

Sure, I'm looking for something future proof for the next few years but I was reading that the r9 290 tri-x is basically on par with the 1060s and only about 10% difference, so hardly worth the upgrade. So i thought that the 1070 would be my minimum jump for any significant price to performance...
