Yeah I understsnd I'm unlikely to get near 144fps with an i74790k or even the 1080ti (at 1440p) for that matter. This is why I was opting for a G-Sync display. Everything I read says it will all but eliminate stutters providing your FPS is above 45 or so which that System would have no issues...

I'm looking to upgrade my current main gaming pc. I have an i7 4790k and 980ti with a 60hz 1440p monitor. The monitor is pretty ordinary and suffers major ghosting, especially in darker scenes. I really want to upgrade to a 1080ti and a good monitor. Say a predator with GSync, 1440p, 144hz...
