I currently am running a i7-8700 (non k) and a Zotac gtx 1070 ti amp extreme. I am considering an upgrade but can’t decide what to upgrade cpu or gpu. What would give more performance per dollar when gaming?

As the title says. Already have the Z370 and don’t want to spend money to get Z390 if it isn’t necessary.

OH NO! I tried the other slot and it wasn’t detecting my gpu, so I put it back in the first slot. Now I’m stuck on the loading screen and it won’t move. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have a Cryorig H7 that produces a lot of heat, which is right next to my graphics card. Am I able to just move the graphics card to the second slot without facing any problems. Under my motherboard specs it says PCIe x16: 2. I have a Tampa2 motherboard.

Is it possible to buy just the outer cover for a gpu. I have a prebuilt system that came with no cover over the gpu. I’m trying to improve airflow, which is lacking in my system, by getting a blower style cover, like a reference card would have, to fit over my gtx 1060.
