How do you make the sticks unbuffed/unregistered? I have tested the sticks 1 by 1 and they work fine =/

Does Video Card ram Count as System Memory?

Just as the thread topic states... I have a 8800GTX 768 card from xFX and I love it... I also have 2GB of PQI Turbo ram. Runs great. I tried to add 2GB more of the same PQI ram and it will not run...the Bios will beep at me...long, drawn out beeps... I remove one of the DIMMS and the bios...

4GB of PQI Turbo will not work...but...2X2 diff ram will?

Well here is the deal...I have 4GB total of PQI Turbo 667 DDR2 ram. Each stick is 1GB If I put in all 4 GB of the PQI I get long drawn out beeps from the mobo. I remove one of the sticks and it boots up fine. I then install 2 sticks of Patriot DDR2 667 dual channel 1GB sticks with the PQI...

4GB RAM wont boot but 2 and 3 will?

Hrm...all four slots and ram chips work. I tried each one... So should I up the volts then? I know the power supply should have no problem running it. I am running an 850W Cooler master... What do you all think I should bump it too? 2volts?

After I get to the Insall/Repair screen and I hit R it takes me to the recovery console...I have no idea what to do here. It simply gives me the option only to format. It is saying it is not a compatible file system or some crap. It only gives me the option to format other than that recovery...

New Mobo, Current HD and OS

Can it be done? Installing a new MOBO without formating and installing all of my programs again? Can I keep my current HD and OS intact and simply install my new board? I am curious before I attempt it...
