After some time I finally got it working. For those who might be experiencing something similar to me, make sure there is adequate pressure on the retention arm. Not really the arm itself, but where the hinges were. As soon as I put pressure on that the processor fell level and was recognized.

I have an 8350 and a 7970 and my system gets around 50 FPS with everything on ultra with 2x AA in 1080p The only thing I would say is get something like an M5A99x or another 990fx chipset board, as I have an M5A97 and it can't OC/Crossfire.

Thought any about the 780ti? I'm pretty sure that it has better performance than the Titan and it's 3gb of memory should be enough for that resolution for several years.

Batman games typically run better on nVidia cards, so that may explain part of the low fps, but I'd say upgrade your GPU to as Lee Yong Quan said, something like a 760 or 7870. Both are cheap and run well.
