I currently have a ViewSonic Va2212m that whenever I load up a game, a buzzing noise starts coming from the monitor, sounding like something is caught in the fan (I'm not even completely sure this monitor has a fan), and I can't open it up to check to see what the problem is. Any suggestions? I was hoping to keep this monitor to put together an eyefinity display but I don't want to with this monitor while it's making all this noise.

Solution
Does this monitor have speakers? Are they connected to anything? If yes/yes, disconnect them. If yes/no, connect them and see what happens.
Especially if no/any, check your refresh rate and make sure the monitor supports it. Most likely it should be 60Hz.

Wow, I didn't think it would be that simple. It was the audio cord making this noise, unplugged it and it is silent as normal. Thanks!
