Alright, just ran 4 passes memtest 86, passed, don't know what to do from here guys.

Ran the windows memory diagnostic, it came up clean, I can probably run memtest to be sure. What could have been the cause guys, system's been stable after the BSOD, could it just be drivers corruption?

Quick update guys, ran occt standard 3d for an hr, no issues again. What is happening? Could it just be the ram?

Just wanted to add, the artifacts I saw looked like ram artifacting when checking google.

Perhaps I wasn't clear, The PC is working fine now as far as I can tell. Reseating the RAM modules after CMOS reset seems to have fixed it, not sure though, just wondering if I should be concerned

Turns out you were right on the money. I RMA'd both the board and the CPU. Got a replacement cpu from AMD and the board was tested OK and sent back to me. I've rebuilt the PC and it seems to be working fine.

I was not ruling out the cpu, I just did not have a way to test it, anyway I've just raised an RMA request with AMD, only have 8 days left on my warranty there and 3 weeks on the board. Not sure if this matters, the board did exhibit somewhat similar problems last year and I had to send to MSI...
