[SOLVED] Can I replace my heasink fan with a 3 pin?

Basically, I know you can connect 3 pin fans to 4 pin headers in the Mobo, but if I buy a replacement fan for my CPU heatsink (old one is rattling and is a cheapo so I can't open it to fix the issue), will it be able to regulate it's speed by itself and not let my CPU overheat?

[SOLVED] PC randomly freezes when I use it after some time with ''LiveKernelEvent'' error

I can't really test much other than the SATA devices, which I have, actually, and the problem still came back when using a different HDD; I think the best thing I can do is to just send the entire pc to warranty and get a new part of whatever is faulty

[SOLVED] PC randomly freezes when I use it after some time with ''LiveKernelEvent'' error

Yep, no overclocking, I'll do another windows reinstall and try again with only the graphics drivers from the nvidia site Also cooling is fine, nothing goes past 71 degrees And what do you mean the PSU is suspect, could it be underpowered or just a bad unit?
