When I opened my task manager I noticed that under non-windows processes 'Windows Command Processor' was open. I am aware this is the cmd, but it still listed this when no cmd was open on my screen. Further more the file location was SysWOW64 rather than the system32 folder where it opens from...

These weird horizontal and diagonal lines flicker across my screen after my PC has been on for a few hours, they appear and reappear intermittently. I have taken and put back in the cables connecting my monitor and my GPU and it still doe sent have seemed to have fixed. I have a ASUS GTX 970...

One last thing. The sound happened when I plugged in my monitor to the mains. (It was already been connected to the pc but was unplugged from the wall.

Brand new PSU also, only a few weeks old.

Something really strange just happened to my pc and I dont know if it was down to my PSU or GPU. My pc was powered down and my GPU (ASUS GTX 970 STRIX) LED remained on as it usually does. But the whilst the pc was off I heard a pop and my GPU LED turned off for a few seconds then turned back on...
