i did and it seemed to work...now i have over a hundred updates to install hahaha thx for the info!

my windows update icon said it was downloading updates. it went through and downloaded and says that i have updates available but when i click on the icon to install them, it just continuously checks for updates and does nothing else. i have let it run for a full 24 hours now and still nothing...
