How would I enter safe mode? Edit: I think I figured out how I'm supposed to enter safe mode using the startup options menu, but when I press f8 to enter it, nothing happens. There's a little screen flash like it registers the input then no changes.

I tried the DST and it failed immediately, I'm guessing that means my HDD is broken or damaged? I'm getting a new PC soon but I have important documents I need from that drive, can it be recovered or is everything on it just lost?

When I loaded up paragon partition manager, I got a I/O error, it said "Error on drive 0 hard disk"

I've downloaded paragon partition manager but I'm not seeing any options to create bootable media, I'll look around some to find out how to create it then I'll let you know how it goes.

I looked into the start up process and I don't think my HDD is showing up. The only thing I have that's visible is "Drive 0 Unallocated space" with 3.9GB

Okay so I created the windows installation media, and put in the USB. It's now taken me to a windows setup screen.

How would I go about checking what drives are attached to the machine, and the boot order? I've looked around in the BIOS but I'm not seeing a tab with that information. I don't have any install discs or an optical drive for that matter, but I have a laptop I could use to make windows...

I've reset the CMOS still no luck. I've even tried changing the CMOS battery. It beeps for a while when it turns on then gives me the "The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device." message. Someone accidentally unplugged my PC while I was away, now when I start it up it beeps 25+ times and takes me to a screen that says "Current BIOS settings do not fully support the boot device" then sends me to my BIOS page and once I exit It just takes me back to my ASUS startup screen then...

Just tried it. My monitor's light is blue instead of yellow now which should mean its detecting something at least but I'm still not getting anything to show up on the monitor. Edit: Nevermind it started working as soon as I replied. Thanks so much for the assistance.
