Used Mining RX 580 for $170 or New for $240 w/ $20 rebate?

Ended up getting a GTX 1070 Gaming X for a little under $280, not used for mining either :) Incase anyone was interested, here's the link to what I was originally looking at: https://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-Gaming-X-RX-580-8G-TWIN-FROZR-31MHS-Modded-Great-gaming-or-mining-card/153190693869

Used Mining RX 580 for $170 or New for $240 w/ $20 rebate?

Is it worth buying a used RX 580 (MSI RX 580 Gaming X 8GB) or spend a little more and go for the new card? (MSI RX 580 ARMOR OC) I don't mind spending the extra money for the new card, but If I've always wanted the Gaming X card so If I could get this with little consequence I wouldn't mind...

Time to upgrade from the FX series or wait out another year or 2?

Sorry for the late reply, I'm going to go with the new build after all with the part list that Hellfire13 made. After running multiple tests on games and using programs the programs MSI Kombuster and UserBenchmark I realized that it just doesn't meet the expectations that I'd like it too in...

Time to upgrade from the FX series or wait out another year or 2?

Relied on my friends to help me with parts and such. I'll be sure to keep checking that part list instead of the...

Time to upgrade from the FX series or wait out another year or 2?

In 2016 I made this build, was working at a budget at the time and tried to keep it pretty low: (FX-6350, GTX 750-Ti, 8gb DDR3-1600) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FntBzY But in comparison to my friends build, which is the same thing w/ an i5-2400, his computer runs significantly better for...

RX 580 or Higher end GPU

Alright I might just end up getting the RX 580, but If I was to buy a higher end graphics card should I just go for a 1080? The 1070 is $390, the 1070 Ti is $410, and the 1080 is $460. And if I was to buy the 1080 how many more years do you think it'll last in comparison to the RX 580?

RX 580 or Higher end GPU

I'm planning on building a new PC soon, but I'm unsure which graphics card I should go for. I don't play many modern day games, but when I do I'm looking to run them on mid/high settings on 1080p with a stable framerate. I was thinking of getting a RX 580, since I'll only be gaming at 1080 @...
