There could be a thing with incorrect drivers on your computer. Can go to nvidia's website and install the drivers if that is it.

Hello, I have a Laptop with a Nvidia Geforce 940MX GPU and I think it has died. In GPU-Z it shows 0mhz clocks and 0mb of vram, but it also shows that the GPU is working. So I have been using the laptop's iGPU but that sucks due to the fact that it's an i5-7200u CPU with HD Graphics 620 . Well...
