Yea will putting my gpu on the upper slot increase performance, or anything else positive if i change it to 3.0?

I had some problems with the bios and the motherboard not working when I first built the PC. I have a Tomahawk b550 motherboard. I flashed the bios multiples times until it finally somehow managed to boot up and i haven't questioned it since then lol. But the Gen 4 PCI slot on the motherboard...

I just noticed this after a month after I built my pc. The CPU is Amd Ryzen 5600x GPU - GTX 970 It says the clock speed is at max but i don't think that's right. What can I do to fix it? I attached a picture https://ibb.co/YRV5q4b

its still not working on that slot i tried to install a lot drivers from the msi motherboard site and nvdia site but nothing seems to make it work?

For the gpu the drives are updated, Im not sure what the correct drivers are to download for my card to work on the main slot on the motherboard

I do but its not the activated version.

I tried putting in the gpu on the main slot again but I think that slot of broken or I need to download a driver or something. Also my VNME isn't showing up. Do you know how I can fix this?

also what other things do i need to make sure of to keep everything up to date and running smoothly wit a new build.

hey so it worked when i put the graphics card in the other slot. What drivers do i need to download to put it back in the main slot?

yea so i applied the thermal paste and put everything on the cpu. Also it booted perfectly and I got to a screen that said “getting drivers ready” after that. the “VGA red light” popped up on the motherboard and nothing was showing on the monitor. Do u know whats the problem is now?? My graphics...
