A little history, the computer has been working fine the only history is that a psu had to be replaced previously . Current problem. Pc won't Post psu won't spin. Steps I've taken| Switched PSU Checked all connections Checked outlet Removed and placed ram one at a time Shorted CMOS Removed...

So this cable here is the reason this happened. http://imgur.com/a/CumiP This connected to the front ubs ports and two fans in the case. Due to this being ripped when I started up the pc sparks happened thanks everyone for suggestions.

Any suggestions on where to start the spark emerged on the right hand side of the pc and only began at startup immediately on a previous effort I managed to get the pc up and running with no incident also the back fan stopped spinning could something related to this be the cause.
