A little history, the computer has been working fine the only history is that a psu had to be replaced previously .

Current problem. Pc won't Post psu won't spin.

Steps I've taken|

Switched PSU
Checked all connections
Checked outlet
Removed and placed ram one at a time
Shorted CMOS
Removed GPU

I am stumped on what the problem could be never had this issue before.

Solution

Yeah that new PSU is not much better than the old one. Z97 and an R9-390 need solid, stable power. And you won't get that with either of those PSUs. You need something like an EVGA B3 or a Seasonic G series PSU in order to power on that system.

Old PSU was a corsair 750 w , new one is a 500 w cooler master lite.

Specs :
CPU ?
GPU R9 390
Ram 16 GB dual channel
Motherboard ASROCK Z97 Anniversary

Friends PC so not sure what the CPU is ATM.
