I'd try the Change letter path in the Computer management tool (storage) or in the Windows Explorer right click and check there if the Format option is available after right clicking on the drive

Plug the drive (for example in an external HDD case) to the computer. Run Start > Computer management tool > Storage and check if it's visible in it. If yes then right click on it and use the "add letter" option. Windows will convert it to its format, adding a letter to the drive, therefore it...
