Bluetooth v4.0 is required. My old Bluetooth v2.0 dongle was not pairing correctly (asking for passcode with light blinking non-stop). I have just bought a 10€ bluetooth v4.0 dongle and it works perfectly. I don't get why Microsoft doesn't mention it in the official product site or in the box...
